Happy Birthday, Randy!!!

Well today my son, Randy, turns the big 13! Oh my god I have a full fledged TEENAGER on my hands. Boy do I feel old today. He is a great kid, I wouldn't give him up for nothing. Tonight we are off to Red Lobster for dinner, his restaurant of choice. Yummy.

YeeHaa! Finally some Weight Loss

I am very happy to report that yesterday, when I weighed in for my biggest loser group, I lost 3 pounds!!!! Yippee. I was also deemed as the biggest loser with a -1.24% weight loss. I have really been struggling with this weight loss, things so even though its only 3 pounds it was just the inspiration that I needed to keep plugging along.
So do you watch biggest loser on TV? Well I do, or at least I DVR it until I have time to watch it. Well I couldn't sleep last night so I laid in bed and watched it from this tuesday. I could never be on that show, Jillian would have me in tears or they would both kill me. However I wish I could lose weight like they do on that show. But any how I gotta tell you I am soooooo happy that Melissa finally got kicked off the show. I can't stand her, there is always a couple on each season that drive me nuts, and trust me she is one of them. Thank goddness she got the BOOT! C-YA. Oh if she wins the finale part I will be pissed. I wish she would have left prior and some of the others would have been allowed to stay. Too bad John had to go, he needed to be there.
Oh well, enough on the weight loss/biggest loser. Till next weeks weigh in I will continue to plug along.

February Cards

Exercise YUK!

Hello all, well I am alive today but barely! I managed to work out for a whole 10 minutes last night on my eliptical machine. I watched TV while on it so that helped. But I gotta tell you I damn near died!! My legs were killing me, I was trying to do 20 minutes, but no such luck. I feel like a pile today, mostly because I have a headache and I didn't go to bed until late and you know I hate getting up in the morning anyways. So blah! So here is my dilema, I managed to exercise for 10 minutes, but then I was starving and I ate a BP and J sandwhich (yummy, on fresh bread!), I am thinking that this totally defeated the purpose of my exercise to start with! Well maybe if I would have ate a good supper I would not have been starving....
So Randy started back in Karate last night....Boy did he get a butt kicking from the instructor. Not his fault, a couple of the girls in the class were fooling around, so the instructed made them do push ups 30! and they had to do side kicks for 60 seconds straight on each leg! I had seriously reconsidered joining myself, boy am I glad I did not pick last night to start!!! Actually I told myself that I am not going to rejoin until I can do 75 or more jumping jacks without dying and looking like big bafoon! (ya, part of the warmups is to do jumping jacks, minimum of 75 to max of 100) Jumping jacks are tough work, so guess what.... Yep my goal for tonight is to do some jumping jacks. If I make it thru the jumping jacks I will update you with the results.... Till then wish me luck....
P.S. Honestly I have been slacking, I will post some artwork this weekend!

Biggest Loser Update

WOW! Trying to loose a few pounds is tough work! I mean honestly no wonder a fair percentage of the US is overweight (including me). I mean to work all day, then have to either work out or think of what to eat or not eat. For me stress is a killer, why can't my body be one of those that those that looses weight over stress, no chance I gain weight with stress.
I am sad to report that last week I gained 1 pound, but this week I lost a pound. So Yippee I am right back where I started! That was not exactly my goal. I can tell you that I feel like crap because I have not been diligent about taking my vitamins, therefore leaving me completely exhausted. I am completely stressed out by life. I have no ambitious to even think of exercising. But I can definatly tell you I am not going to shed any pounds if I don't exercise as well as watch what I eat. I was really hoping that I would be able to get by without exercise, but no such luck BUMMER! With live I have learned that I have to adapt, well sometimes I hope to adapt and that is not reality. With my schedule/life right now I am eating a lot of late meals, not healthy but just plain reality. I know it is not good for my weight loss and not really a healthy choice, but neither is just not eating. So I guess I have to find a way to just bite the bullet and exercise, YUK. Can you tell that exercising is not on my top ten favorites list...LOL Mostly because I am sooooo exhausted at night, and I am so out of shape that then I hurt afterwards. But I can guarentee you that I am better off exercising at night before I go to bed (at least I can take some Ibuprofen and sleep off the pain), because there is NO WAY that I am getting up early to exercise, I am so not a morning person! (trust me I have overslept every morning this week). OK so my goal this week is to try and remember to take my vitamins everyday, so I don't feel so lousy, and to try and exercise at least 3 times this week (even if for just 5 min each). Hey I gotta start somewhere, right? So until next week, happy trying to exercise.....
